The Baluchon brings a new ideology to the tiny house community. Is a tiny house meant to be lived in? Why not use it as a mobile clinic or a movable office for health workers? That is what the Baluchon tiny home builders have done. However, this 4-meter-long tiny house on wheels is called โSaint Josephโs workshopโ.
The owner of the tiny home or office whatever it may be was a health professional. Instead of a typical tiny house, the owner wants a mini clinic-like setup to give some medical advice to people along the way. Moreover, its designers have infused as many tiny home features as possible into this frugal space, apart from the kitchen.
That is to say, there is a fully functional bathroom with a dry toilet, an 80x80cm shower, stainless steel bucket, and a sink. Above the bathroom, there is a storage loft which is completely closed and looks clean.
And the rest of the house is the working area for the owner I guess. There is a patient examination bench-like bed with a wedge pillow to position the patient. The pillow is removable and can be stored under the bench which has huge pull-out drawers underneath.
Also, there is a small retractable staircase on the side to help the patient to access the bench. The design continues with the wood-burning stove in the middle of the house to make it warm in winter. At the entrance, there is a reception-like set up with a table, chairs, and lots of shelves.
The large window near the table brings natural light into the house(clinic). Further, the house was finished with red cedarย claddingย with a UV saturator. Finally, I canโt find much information about the exact pricing of this build. you can get more information about this tiny house on their website.
