The Road Runner is a newly designed compact tiny house from a French builder ‘Baluchon’. Before going tiny, the owner of this house lived in the New Mexico desert. So this tiny house got the name from the famous cartoon series based on that desert location. However, Baluchon claimed that this 6 m (19.6 ft) dwelling sleeps up to 4 or 5 people.
Like their previous build ‘Tiny House Nano’, it features cedar cladding with UVsaturator and aluminum trays covering on the exterior. Likewise, they use the heat-treated solid Landes pine and solid spruce for the flooring. Once you enter the house, there is a living area with a large sofa bed and a giant mixed wood double glazing window. To clarify, the owner of this house wants to get more sunlight into the house and enjoy nature from inside.
On the right-hand side, there is a complete kitchen that features everything to prepare a good meal. There you can see a sink, some storage cabinets, and a four-burner propane-powered stove. Instead of a refrigerator, the owner installed a pantry to store their fruits and vegetables.
Nearby there is a huge wardrobe to store clothes and other things. After the kitchen, there is a small bathroom that features a dry toilet, 80x80cm shower, stainless steel bucket, and chip compartment. Between the kitchen and the living room, there is a folding oak table that seats two for enjoying a meal. Opposite the table, there is an entrance cabinet that hides an electronic cat flap and holds a small 2kW wood stove.
Further, the Road Runner compact tiny house has two loft areas. One of them used as a storage loft and another one serves as a master bedroom. Meanwhile, both of them can be reached by a removable ladder. The magazine bedroom features a 160x200cm bed and a small storage box. You can get the pricing details by contacting them!
