The Rhapsodie is the newest build by the French tiny house builder Baluchon.ย It was designed as a home and workplace for their client who is a music composer. As a result, the living room of this tiny house serves as a real music studio. However, this unique tiny house measures 6 meters and based on a double axel trailer.
On the exterior, this house features cedar claddingย with a UV saturator and aluminum trays covering with standing joints. Also, there is a small balcony in this house which is reached from the upstairs bedroom. Meanwhile, the owner of this house was inspired by the marine. So this tiny dwelling loaded with lots of unique features that try to make the house feels like a โboatโ.
Likewise, the interior flooring of this house has a heat-treated solid Landes pine and solid spruce. The living area of the house also features a small convertible sofa and a folding oak tableย which serves as a dining table. Next to the living/music room, there is a functional bathroom with an 80x80cm shower, a dry toilet, a stamped stainless steel bucket, a chip compartment, and a hand-washing unit.
To give the boat feeling, they have attached the marine-inspired porthole on a sliding door.ย The kitchen is located at the end of the tiny house. Where it features a two-burner propane stove, Klarstein refrigerator, Sauter hotplates, washing machine, and a pull-out pantry. Further, the Rhapsodie has two typical tiny house-style bedrooms on the loft. There is a removable ladder that helps to access both bedrooms.
Moreover, those two mezzanine bedrooms are connected by a footbridge which is placed right above the bathroom. Again, there is a balustrade with two large side ropesย to give the marine touch. As already mentioned, through the window from the main bedroom we can access an outside balcony area which is so cool!
