Meet Carrie and Dan’s, a cozy and colorful tiny home that helps you become a minimalist. However, this mind-blowing build was done by the Fort Collins, Colorado-based firm MitchCraft Tiny Homes. The company was lead by the owner and builder Mitch Holmes who was always been passionate about furniture-making and alternative housing.
The Carrie and Dan’s tiny house measures 28′ x 10′ and features every essential space such as living room, bathroom, kitchen, and a loft bedroom. From the exterior, the Board and batten style siding gives an attractive look to the house.
There is a full-size French glass door at the main entrance with a uniquely designed storage space underneath. So there’s is a well-organized place to hide and store your shoes. The bright-looking living space features a sofa, large glass windows, and a wood-burning stove.
So you can relax by simply sit back on the couch and enjoy the view through the wide-open main door. Above all, The living room serves as the starting point for the house’s kitchen. As a result, you can be in both the kitchen and the living room at the same time.
The wooden countertops, blue-colored cabinets, and the low ceiling make the kitchen everyone’s favorite space. Personally, I adore this kitchen. Also, there is a four-burner stove, sink, refrigerator, and a washer & dryer combo. Above all, the compact breakfast bar is created by the flip-up counter space and two stools.
There are two loft bedrooms in the house. One is directly above the kitchen, while the other is above the bathroom. Both lofts have separate storage integrated stairs to access. Both bathroom and mudroom share the space on the other end of the house.
Unlike other typical tiny houses, Carrie and Dan’s features a bathtub. That is a dream come true for every tiny house enthusiast. In addition, the mudroom features a side door that serves as a secondary entrance to the house. Further, I didn’t hear any words about the exact price of this build. But, according to MitchCraft’s website, the price of this cozy tiny house is somewhere between US$111,535 to US$131,535.
