Australian couple Monique and Aswan have been living in a tiny house for 9 months now, and they have been spending a lot of time in it due to COVID-19! However, this 7m long and 2.5 wide tiny house built on a trailer. So they can move the house wherever. They are living in Melbourne, Australia, and the parking location takes 30 minutes from the CBD ( central business district). Moreover, designing and constriction works are done by Monique and Aswan.
With the help of friends and family, they have completed the house in 8 months. They believe that paying for and maintaining a large house was not one of our priorities in life. Aa a result, they decided to live tiny, in a cost-efficient and eco-friendly house. The house itself features large windows, a full-size kitchen, and an overall architectural aesthetic.
The dream is to have a small garden around the house and in the future, potentially build another house for family and friends to stay.ย

The huge windows let the maximum amount of sunlight inside. That makes you feel like youโre out in nature while the double doors allow for easy indoor/outdoor living. Likewise, the stairs are packed with storage and make the loft more accessible. Opposing windows in the loft draw through the cool breeze in summer while the skylight affords more headroom and stargazing potential. Surprisingly, this house can seat 6-8 people for dinner.
Also, have a queen size guest bed and a hidden bath in the deck! Itโs perfect for lounging in front of the enormous picture window, drinking tea, and watching the weather change over the mountains. However, this house filled with hidden storage everywhere, they have a spot for all belongings which makes the house easy and uncluttered.
Further, the kitchen of this house equipped with large, functional, and standard size appliances. As they did this themselves, so the total cost of the build was $47,000 AUD. Unfortunately, itโs not for sale. But you can get the plans from them. If you want to build your own tiny house, then their plan which is tried and tested in a real tiny house is extremely helpful. The plan starts at $250 AUD on Tyny.com.au! You can follow Monique and Aswan on Facebook here!
