Cindy Chavez is looking forward to her retirement and wanted to spend the rest of her life in elegance and minimalist way. Moreover, she was inspired by tiny houses. And wanted to set herself up to be free of any debt when she retires. As a result, she decided to move from a four-bedroom home to a single bedroom she shed.
So she purchased a 16ร40 pre-built shell called โDeluxe Casitaโ from Better Built Structures as a repo. And completely customize the floor plan with the help of local builders as per her own design. Meanwhile, this 640 sq ft cabin with a loft located on her family land in South Eastern Oklahoma.
Scaling down from a four bedroom home to a one bedroom wasnโt too challenging.ย You would be surprised at the things you can live without.

However, Cindy has been single for many years and she successfully completed the cabin on a single income. Thatโs why her 640Sq ft tiny house is still an inspiration to every single woman. Cindy said, finding trustworthy people to complete the work is pretty challenging than scaling down from a four-bedroom home to a single bedroom.
Iโm not the sweet girl next door, Iโm the crazy heifer in the she shed!
Surprisingly, she got brand new high-end material from the Facebook Marketplace from people that had leftover material on the build of their home. As a result, she spends only $40K to complete the cabin which takes almost $60k if she bought the new materials from a local hardware store.
โSpend some time to search for items on FB Marketplace to buy new leftover material at a fraction of the cost,โ said Cindy. Further, her beautiful tiny house features a front porch, spacious living room, unique shaped kitchen, dinette, wall-mounted TV, spacious bathroom, walk-in shower, China cabinet, and a guest loft. The vintage style of furniture gives a classic look to the house.
