Roman & Ioana is always thirsty for discovering the world, spending time outdoors, discovering new places, and meeting interesting people that always makes them happy. These two explorers embraced the idea of minimalism and exploring alternative living choices. As a result, they got a hippie bus and joined the van life movement in 2017, which made so much sense for them.

However, they have named the van ‘LENI’. It is a VW LT35 that stole the couple’s hearts from the very first moment they saw it. After restoring it into a fully off-grid motorhome, Roman & Ioana adventured on a one-year trip around Europe, experiencing traveling and living full-time in a van. That is to say, the trip had an epic end with them getting married and returning to Switzerland where they actually met.

However, they do experience other ways of living and traveling like motorbikes, bicycles, SUVs, tiny houses on wheels. Basically, anything that can move from a place to another. While they were traveling around Europe, they discovered tiny houses. After moving back home to their apartment, the couple got to work on their tiny house dreams. As a result, they have built their own tiny house based in Switzerland. And living in it since December 2020.

Their tiny house is fully off the grid. The main idea behind the design was to have as much natural light as possible. The house is only 24sqm but has everything that they need. It also features a washer and dryer combo, dishwasher, decent size shower, two working stations amazing bar window that opens up. Further, their favorite part of the house is the french glass doors that bring them to the terrace.
